The public build map is organized around work areas and completion signals rather than arbitrary dates. Contributors can join where their skills match an open need.

A useful onboarding assignment is to choose one object, mission, audience, research question or integration and produce a small useful artifact: a source map, connector test, guided experience, research note, interface concept, outreach brief, citizen science walkthrough or other reviewable output.
