- external professional links where the contributor chooses to share them

Why this matters
Authorship creates accountability and helps visitors understand who produced a piece of work. It also gives contributors a concrete portfolio of research, product and communication outputs.
Contributor profiles should never imply credentials or institutional affiliations that have not been verified.
